Pet stores are documented getting dogs from puppy mills.

This is really important since we could actually have the impact of banning pet stores from selling puppies in SD. It is a documented, legitimate fact that 99% of pet stores get their puppies from cruel, unsanitary puppy mills and, as I discovered yesterday when I went to the back of one SD pet store, the owners often continue to have the dogs that aren’t in public view live in filthy cages.

This only take a minute and you do not need to be a SD resident to sign this! It will be presented to city council who does have the power to make this decision with some push from the residents of San Diego.

There are other progressive cities in California that have a ban on the sale of puppies at puppy stores. Let’s help make San Diego a kinder city!
